Picture People Selects Noritsu Inkjet For It's Portrait Studio Lab Installs
Press Release

Picture People, the 320-store chain of portrait studios, has decided to replace the silver halide processing equipment in each store with the Noritsu dDP-610, inkjet output system.

John, Johnson, vice president of operations, said the decision to go inkjet ends a search to upgrade its equipment that lasted many months during which time units from five manufacturers were tested. He said that the conversion to the dDP-610 would begin in May and could take 12 months to complete. In addition, he indicated that the chain will standardize on the Canon 20D camera and Kodak Endura paper.
