Tamron Announces Live Video Stream From photokina

September 2008, Cologne, Germany (PHOTOKINA) --Tamron Europe (TEG) has announced that it is offering a live-video-stream of the top event programs at the Tamron stand during this year's Photokina.

Tamron will offer a special service for all those who are not able to attend this year’s show between the 23rd and 28th of September: a Live-Video-Stream on the internet. All events and workshops at the Tamron stand on the first Photokina day will be transferred to the internet using a total of five HD cameras. Event Schedule

Stage show with 18-270mm VC Presentation

The new 18-270mm F/ 3.5-6.3 VC will be the focus on the main Tamron stage. Apart from a musical journey with an attractive dance show, the lens will be presented in detail by the star photographer David Cuenca in the workshop following the show.

Portrait Workshop

The well-known photographer Stefan Wernz from Cologne will photograph our three models Alanah, Kerry and Uta and reveal some of his tricks.

Macro Workshop

Tamron macro lenses will be demonstrated in this workshop. Stefan Wernz will magnify small things into large formats and show the possibilities of Tamron macro lenses in depth.

Additional Highlights

This year's Tamron stand has a lot more to offer. Apart from a detailed demonstration of all Tamron lenses including the new 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 VC and 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 zoom lenses, Tamron will offer a free lens cleaning clinic at the demo counter for Tamron lenses brought by Photokina visitors. Additionally, one can extensively test the effect of the different focal lengths in the lens test center. Finally, our VC Vibration Compensation (VC) test center will demonstrate in an impressive manner the highly efficient image stabilization system which is incorporated into the new megazooms 18-270mm VC and 28-300mm VC.
