Lowepro released two new camera bag lines, the discrete and modern Classified AW with leather appointments and the LensTrekker 600 AW II for photographers looking to protect their investment in 600mm or 800mm telephoto lenses.
Both product lines will be sold through major retail channels in the next few weeks, and will be available for demonstration at the upcoming PhotoPlus Expo in New York (October 23-25, 2008).
The Classified AW represents a new breed of discreet and modern bags designed for style and comfort. With soft edges, briefcase-styling, and leather detailing, the four models of the Classified AW series feature collapsible interior padding for flexible customization, Lowepro's patented All Weather Cover, and the largest model includes a dedicated laptop compartment for up to a 15.4" notebook computer. Classified AW with be available in early November 2008.
A redesigned Lowepro classic, the Lens Trekker 600 AW II is the ideal carrying solution for pro-level shooters with a significant investment in an expensive telephoto lens and provides capacity for a dSLR with attached 600mm lens or an unattached 800mm. An ergonomic and fully-adjustable torso harness system helps comfort the load of such a large lens, while shock-absorbing foam padding and Lowepro's patented All Weather Cover protect the costly gear. Lens Trekker 600 AW II will be available in October 2008.
