CEO of Ritz Interactive Appointed to International Photographic Council Board



Fred H. Lerner, president and CEO of Ritz Interactive has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The International Photographic Council (IPC). The International Photographic Council (IPC) is a multinational, non-governmental organization of the United Nations composed of representatives from every major sector of the photographic industry.

Starting at Berkey Photo, Fred turned his childhood hobby of photography into a successful career spanning over 30 years.

In 1977, Fred founded California-based Lerner Photo, a wholesale photofinishing company which was sold to Qualex (Eastman Kodak) in 1992. He then served for the next seven years as president & CEO of Kodak Processing Labs.

In 1999, Mr. Lerner co-founded Ritz Interactive, Inc. He currently serves as president & CEO of the award-winning, specialty online retailer and e-commerce service provider that operates a network of websites such as RitzCamera.com, WolfCamera.com, BoatersWorld.com and others.

Fred is also the Past President of Photo Marketing Association and now serves on the board of directors. PMA represents 20,000 members in 100-plus countries who actively contribute to the expanding $83 billion imaging industry.
