Airport Police Interrogate Photog.

Rawalpindi-- Senior photographer of the British news agency Reuters, Mian Khurshid, was kept under custody and interrogated for three hours due to suspicion of being a terrorist on arrival of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Muhammad Zaid Bin Sultan at Chaklala airport on Thursday.

According to sources, after taking the photographs of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khurshid was on his way to his office when airport police intercepted his vehicle and took him to police station. He was harassed by police and mentally tortured on the pretext of being a terrorist.

After learning about the incident, scores of journalists reached Airport Police station and got him released. Meanwhile, President of Rawalpindi Islamabad Press Club Mushtaq Minhas and General Secretary Afzal Butt demanded the government to take prompt notice in this regard.
