Peter Mador, a veteran in the on-site processing industry, has left Noritsu to join Fujifilm, USA, as VP, strategic planning, on-site imaging solutions, a new position.
According to Fuji, Mador's responsibilities "include supporting the entire Imaging Division sales organization by collaborating with customers, marketing, sales and new product development to develop new on-site imaging solution strategies."
He will be reporting to Bing Liem, senior vice president of sales, Imaging Division. Liem stated, "Bringing Peter on board…will enable us to not only focus on the opportunity and challenges of today, but simultaneously develop new business models for future growth."
Mador was most recently a VP at Noritsu where he was responsible for professional strategic markets. It was his second stint with Noritsu having left the firm in 2005, when he was VP sales, to take over as VP on-site sales for Konica Minolta, and then rejoining Noritsu in September, 2006 after Konica Minolta folded its photo operation.
A Noritsu spokesman said that no replacement had been named for Mador.
In another Fuji personnel matter, Gael Lundeen, VP and general manager, photofinishing and web services, has left the firm.
