Museum Presents Recycled Realities

The exhibit, which runs from March 22 to June 17, 2007, will be presented at the Hallmark Museum of Contemporary Photography, 85 Avenue A, in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. Black and white images from three bodies of work by photographers John Willis of Dummerston, Vermont, and Tom Young of Buckland, Massachusetts. Recycled Realities portrays a vast paper landscape at the Erving Paper Mill in Erving, Massachusetts; "Timeline" by Young is a personal narrative of family, landscape, and time's fleeting but monumental nature. Willis' "View from the Rez" features the lives and environment of the Sioux Oglala Lakota People of Pine Ridge Reservation of South Dakota.

Artist Reception & Book Signing, Saturday, 1:00 to 5:00 at the Hallmark Museum of Contemporary Photography; additional museum hours for viewing only, that day 5:00 to 7:00. Artist Talk at Hallmark Institute of Photography 7:30 to 8:45. Refreshments 6:45 -7:15, seating at 7:15, and talk 7:30 to 8:45. Followed by refreshments and book signing. March 31st.
