ELMWOOD PARK, NJ---July 3, 2007 –To ensure that it is providing the best possible business development and educational offerings to its Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting members, the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) will host a meeting to form a Category Interest Group during the 2007 Summer Convention and Trade Show. Scheduled for Thursday, July 19 from 7:15-9:00 pm in Room 50/51 of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, the meeting is open to all interested CHA manufacturer members.
The meeting will serve two key purposes:
• To form a Category Interest Group within CHA for Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting, allowing the category’s vendors to pursue more specialized programs aimed specifically at their markets.
• To give feedback to CHA management, who will be in attendance, regarding any improvements or suggestions that Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting members would like to see implemented within the CHA.
“Scrapbooking and paper crafting are among the strongest categories in our shows. But, the industry is constantly evolving and we must always make sure we’re staying ahead of the curve and arming our members with the business resources they need to succeed,” explains CHA CEO Steve Berger. “By forming this Category Interest Group, we’re going straight to the source to work together to develop programs and services that address their most pressing issues and day-to-day business challenges.”
All interested CHA Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting members are invited to attend the Category Interest Group meeting. To register, contact Sue Spivak, member services coordinator, at 201.794.1133, ext 227 or via email: email@example.com
