ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 12—Kodak’s new customer publication, One magazine, recently earned top honors from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) in its 2006 Inspire Awards competition. Kodak won the Gold Award for excellence in development of One magazine and also ranked at 16 out of the 429 entries, honoring Kodak in the Top 50 Publications of 2006 category.
“One magazine is one of the many ways Kodak provides customers with tools, resources, and knowledge to help them expand their businesses and increase revenues,” said Jim Langley, President, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, and Senior Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company.
“We’re proud the professional communicators have recognized our efforts with this prestigious award.” The name, One, reflects Kodak’s commitment to partnering with each customer on growing their businesses. Case histories and byline articles in One focus on challenges that printers face and the strategies they are using to win in their marketplaces. This year, One will be distributed worldwide with customized content for different regions. Kodak will distribute the next edition of One at the 2007 AIIM On Demand Conference & Exhibition in Boston.
The 2006 Inspire Awards competition is judged by a field of communications professionals affiliated with LACP. Scoring is completed using a 100 point system, covering various criteria of the entry including first impression, artwork, readability, creativity, message clarity, variety of features, audience focus, perceived relevance and ease of navigation.
