SanDisk (www.sandisk.com) has promoted Yoram Cedar to executive vice president of the handset business and corporate engineering. The former senior vice president of engineering and emerging market business development will now be responsible for leading in the creation of new flash memory platforms and markets for the mobile phone business, while continuing to be responsible for SanDisk’s worldwide corporate engineering organization. Cedar has been serving the company since 1998 when he first joined as vice president of system engineering and boasts over 20 years of experience in the design and engineering management of electronic systems.
