George Clark, president of Portrait Weavers, identified another growing photo gift trend.
"We get cards and letters telling us that our products add a new dimension to the customer experience because they are woven and can be touched. We know a photographer who takes pictures of soldiers going to Iraq and has them made into blankets so the families can get hugs from their parents while they are overseas. This is an experience you just can't get from a photograph. Nothing beats a hug."
