Epson (www.epson.com) further introduced the 13-inch wide Epson Stylus Photo 1400 at PMA 2007. Sharing the same technology as the Epson Stylus Photo R260 and R380, including Claria ink and DX5 MicroPiezo print heads, the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 is engineered to produce prints up to 13x19-inches.

HP (www.hp.com) unveiled the Designjet Z3100ps GP Photo Printer. Expanding the HP Designjet Z Photo Printer Series, the new Z3100ps features a built-in spectrophotometer for consistent and accurate color. Available in 24- and 44-inches wide, the Z3100ps comes standard with the HP Advanced Profiling Solution, allowing users to create customized RGB and CMYK profiles for any media, as well as personalize and edit the profiles to specific needs.

Durst (www.durstus.com) released the Theta 76, which is a versatile, affordable digital photo printer available in four configurations – emphasizing color output, speed and productivity. The Durst Theta 76 30-Inch Multi-Format Lab Systems, featuring an in-line processor and Durst's proprietary fiber optic LED technology, produce high-quality prints from 3.5x5 inches all the way up to 30 inches by 13 feet long – ideal for image consistency across an entire photo package.

Neschen Americas (www.neschenamericas.com) introduced two new Neschen brand liquid coating systems. The new AccuCure 60 UV and AccuCure 80 UV offer fully automated liquid coating and instant curing for digital prints up to 60 and 80 inches wide (152 cm and 203 cm). Designed for high-volume production, the new UV coaters can run at speeds up to 110 feet per minute (33.5 mpm) and can handle flexible and rigid substrates up to 3 inches thick (7.6 cm). Coating thickness is variable from 0.3 to 0.8 mils (7.62 to 20.32 microns) and independent roller controls allow adjustment of the coating texture.

Canon (www.canonusa.com) introduced three new compact Multimedia Projectors– the LV-7265, LV-7260, and LV-X7. The projectors deliver bright, high-quality XGA images, and provide users with a blend of versatile 1.6x Canon wide-angle zoom lens. The new seven-group projection lens ensures greater flexibility in projector placement. The combination of the short throw distance and optical zoom of these three new projectors adapt to many environments, which is an essential feature for classrooms, conference rooms of almost any size, and other situations that require bright, "large-screen," high-fidelity images.

Hahnemuhle FineArt (www.hahnemuhle.com) presented Photo Rag Pearl 320 – the company's 24th paper in its TIPA award-winning premium product line. The new paper is a natural-white, OBA-free, pure cotton rag paper with the soft, smooth Photo Rag surface combined with Hahnemuhle pearl coating. The new paper features a high Dmax and a large color gamut, producing exceptional color and black and white images. Photo Rag Pearl 320 is ideal for fine art photo prints with both warm color and grey tones.

Media Street, Inc. (www.mediastreet.com) announced a new, improved black & white ink set designed by fine art photographer and digital printing consultant Richard Wolfson. Built from Media Street's recently improved pigment inks, the new GQ2 ink set delivers world-class black & white prints on a wide range of photo and fine art papers. The GQ2 ink set prints long, smooth gray scales from the lightest highlights to the darkest shadows without banding or posterization. Since GQ2 is a variable-tone ink set, users can make cold, warm, neutral, or split tone prints (like platinum or palladium) without changing inks.

ILFORD (www.ilford.com) launched its new ILFORD Professional Brand, which incorporates a new range of paper, film and vinyl products. The new ILFORD Professional Brand enables photographers to diversify their services and produce images on translucent, reverse print, vinyl and pop-up films which they can purchase in small quantities rather than committing to buying in bulk. The new product range is also compatible with the ILFORD STUDIO software. The new professional range will go on sale in April 2007 and will be available in 17" – 44" rolls with a single roll minimum order quantity. This product range, as well as other ILFORD products, will be distributed in the USA through WYNIT.

Savage Universal Corporation (www.savagepaper.com) announced new extra-wide Seamless Background Paper, sized to 140" x 35 yards (356cm x 32m) for panoramic photography or display. The new paper is offered in Chroma-key compatible colors. New versatile Tech Green and Studio Blue Photowide has the same fine tooth and non-reflective properties as the standard colors; Super White, Black and Storm Gray.

Premier Imaging Products (www.premierart.info) announced the latest addition to their Premier line of products, the Hi-Gloss Canvas. Hi-Gloss Canvas is on a poly/cotton base with a 2:1 weave for stretching properties and added strength. This is an acid free product, and is also compatible with PremierArt Eco Print Shield. Eco Print Shield coated on this canvas will allow the canvas to be stretched without cracking, and will increase the life of the image.

Legion Paper (www.legionpaper.com) released their new Moab product line, after coming together as Moab by Legion Paper in late 2006. Among the new papers is Colorado Fiber, the product line's standout innovation. Colorado Fiber is a modern interpretation of a traditional silver halide photographic paper intended for the highest photographic reproduction with modern inkjet printers.

Intelicoat Technologies (www.intelicoat.com) introduced the Magiclee brand Torino Décor, a universal, matte-finish canvas designed to produce long-term, fade-resistant fine art or photo reproductions. An economy-grade, poly/cotton, 19 mil canvas, Torino Décor features a universal matte ink jet coating, making it ideal for production art and photo printing with both solvent and aqueous pigment and piezo printers.

Ferrania Technologies (www.ferraniait.com) showcased their expanded line of inkjet print media at PMA 2007, with the introduction of their Optijet Professional Papers. The line includes three finishes: 260 gsm, 10.4 mil glossy and luster, and 180 gsm, 9 mil matte heavyweight, in an assortment of cut-sheet sizes from 4:x6" to 13"x19". They are 100 percent compatible with all pigment, DURAbrite, UltraChrome k3, Claria, Vivera, LUCIA, and ChromaLife. Package sizes range from 25 to 500 sheets.
