—Ralph Romaguera,  Romaguera Photography (www.romaguera.com)

We use Sony's UP-DR150 printers, which work great for our on-site event photography business and for our Santa photo business at the malls: They're fast, reliable, and easy to operate, especially important since photographers are vulnerable to all types of uncontrollable conditions, such as severe weather, high print volumes, travel conditions, and other in-the-field stresses. The selling point for me is that it produces high-quality digital prints at a practical price point. Our customers are also quite happy knowing that they can receive an immediate keepsake of a special occasion.

To meet the needs of today's professional photographer, printer manufacturers can make printers that are highly adaptable, which translates into ease of use, a portable footprint, high-quality output, fast print speeds, and the ability to withstand the wear-and-tear associated with most event applications.
