Glen Allison is true to what he loves to do. His bottom line: "Never, never, never give up your dreams. Somehow clear the obstacles in your path and find a way to win."
"My greatest joy in travel photography is experiencing different cultures and making friends all over the world. My goal is to have at least one life-long friend from every country around the globe."
Toward that end, he's founded the Stock Artists Alliance, a photographer advocacy group, and holds a leadership position in the Soka Gakkai International world peace organization.
Allison has also self-published two books. The Journey from Kamakura is a novel about a travel photographer who speaks to never giving up your dreams. Penis Gourds & Moscow Muggings is a light-hearted look at his real-life experiences that celebrates cultural differences. (Both books are available at Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon.com, and his website.)
When asked of all the places he's been, which is his favorite, he replies, "The next one." Glen Allison is truly going places!
