Hitachi’s 6GB Microdrive 3K6 is a 1" CompactFlash Type II hard drive and comes in 4GB capacity.

Hoodman

Hoodman’s Professional Performance Only line of CF cards come in 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities. Each card uses a new PowerMiser controller technology designed to save battery life. But your customers won’t find the new line at mass merchants—the Professional Performance Only line is sold exclusively through photo dealers.

Imation

Imation’s USB 2.0 2GB and 4GB Micro Hard Drives can transfer files across PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. Imation Security Manager file synchronization and encryption software for Windows and Mac backs up multiple file versions, synchronizes copies, and offers 128-bit encryption for security.

Kingston

Kingston expanded its line of CompactFlash Ultimate memory cards, with capacities up to 4GB, with a speed of 100X.

Lexar

Lexar’s Professional 8GB CF Type I card is now twice as fast at 90X, and ships with full versions of Lexar Image Rescue 2.0 software, Corel Paint Shop Pro 9, and a trial version of Photo Mechanic, all bundled into the card.

Lexar and Kodak also recently announced new Kodak branded high-performance SD cards in capacities of 512MB and 1GB, with larger capacities to come.

Norcent

Norcent’s new line of flash memory cards includes CF cards in capacities up to 4GB, and SD cards in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB versions.

PNY

Among the slew of new PNY Technologies’ portable media storage products recently announced are: 4GB SD cards; SD cards with built-in USB connectivity for dual-functionality; and MicroSD (with adapter), in 128MB, 256MB, or 512MB capacities, designed for use with mobile phones.

Ridata’s 150X Secure Digital Card is built tough, featuring low power consumption and cryptographic security for protection of copyrighted data.

SanDisk

SanDisk Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo cards now come in 4GB capacity, and Extreme III cards in 8GB capacity.

Seagate

Seagate’s new 160GB Portable Hard Drive is built for the road, featuring an internal shock-mounted design and aluminum alloy enclosure for protection against shocks and falls.
