Hasselblad (www.hasselbladusa.com) unveiled the Flextight X1 and Flextight X5 high-end film scanners, developed around Hasselblad's patented virtual drum design and flexible magnetic holder. Incorporating a 3x8000 optic CCD sensor and Rodenstock lens, both scanners are fast and easy to use and feature a new time-saving facility: an Auto Scan button, delivering a high-resolution scan with one press. While the Flextight X1 has been developed with value in mind, the Flextight X5 has been built for speed, scanning 35mm originals at up to 8000 dpi and a speed of 300MB/minute.
