Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America (www.mitsubishi-tv.com) appointed Kevin Siegel as marketing manager for its photographic, security and medical imaging divisions. In his new position, Siegel will develop a marketing strategy for each of Mitsubishi's digital imaging divisions and will work closely with the company's sales teams to support their efforts, as well as direct the marketing department in the execution of communications to build the Mitsubishi brand and drive sales.
EXPRESSDIGITAL (www.expressdigital.com) announced the winners of the 2007 ExpressDigital Dealer and Lab Awards. The success of ExpressDigital is a direct reflection of these hard working companies who exemplify excellence and integrity in the photography industry. The Studio of the Year honors went to Studio 121. All American Photo and Imaging, Jones Photo, Magenta Studios and Photo Express Digital Pro Lab all earned Summit Awards, given for outstanding achievement in 2007. The awards were presented during ExpressDigital's Annual Partner Party held in Las Vegas on February 1.

The revised liveBooks|edu product consists of two parts: a templated Flash website and a sophisticated online administration tool known as the editSuite. With the new, expanded features of the editSuite tool students can more effectively present their brand online, and keep their website content current.

Unveiled at Imaging USA, the Shozam Business Edition was designed to meet the growing needs of pro photographers and artists. A software tool, not a Web service, Shozam galleries offer photographers an alternative to expensive web designers and online services. Shozam galleries-complete with slideshow and background music-are generated offline, moved easily to any web host, and displayed stand-alone or integrated into existing sites. Galleries can also be burned to CD and shared with clients on the spot.
STUDIOPLUS SOFTWARE, LLC (www.StudioPlusSoftware.com) announced the release of a new integrated online image hosting and ordering web-service for professional photography studios called MyStudioPlus.com. MyStudioPlus.com is an extension of the award-winning studio management software, StudioPlus.
