Addressing the theme "Morning, Noon, or Night—In Your Best Light," Studio Photography readers and website visitors submitted hundreds of entries for Calumet's Photography Contest, from early November 2006 to December 15, 2006. Studio Photography congratulates the following photographers for their winning entries:
Ken Fischer (www.kfstudio.com), New York, NY, is our Grand Prize winner for his image "Reservoir Bridge, W94," taken in Central Park, NYC. His prize: an article on his winning lighting techniques to be featured in April Studio Photography. Fischer also was awarded a Bowens Explorer 1500 two-head lighting kit.
Denver, CO's Jeff Scroggins (www.jeffscroggins.com) was awarded Second Prize for his photograph "Bevis/Pella Interior." He won a Calumet Travelite 1875 w/s three-head portrait kit.
David H. Wells (www.davidhwells.com), Providence, RI, took Third Prize for his image "Night/Diner," taken in Bangalore, India. He won a Calumet Travelite 1500 w/s two-head umbrella kit.
