2006 Readers’ Choice Awards
Saluting Our Winning Products & Product Lines

Against the backdrop of recently concluded U.S. midterm elections, we salute the winners of Studio Photography’s first Readers’ Choice Awards. From August 3 through September 20, over 1,000 professional photographers voted for their favorite products and product lines by responding to an email blast, selecting the link in our September enewsletter, or by visiting our website,

Voting was heavy and competition was tough. In most instances, there was a clear product favorite. Where there were multiple product picks within a brand, or where a brand or product line drew the most votes, we declared the brand or product line the winner. The biggest surprise was the “photo finish” for Overall Top Product Winner: the Canon EOS 5D DSLR and Nikon D200 DSLR. Another contest highlight was Epson sweeping all four categories in which it was nominated.
We congratulate the winners, thank those who voted, and welcome your comments and suggestions as we plan for next year’s competition.
