PMA 2003 Is Just Around the Corner

PMA 2003 is coming sooner than you think. The photo and imaging industry's annual convention and trade show will be held this March 2-5, 2003 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year marks the 79th annual PMA show. Nearly 200 seminars are scheduled to be held from mini-breakfast sessions to mid-day sessions and tutorials to night schools. Seminar topics include Role of the Independent in the Minilab Marketplace, Retail Digital ImagingCompeting with Chains, Capturing the Digital Customer and Cost Effective Ideas for Offering Digital Services.

Look for a wide range of U.S. debuts of product already introduced at photokina, only a few short months ago. This year's trade show will encompass two floors packed full of exciting new products. Over 700 exhibitors are expected to display their wares from film and film-cameras to digital cameras and accessories, DVDs and e-commerce to home printers, kiosks and minilabs.

For the third year in a row, PrintImage International will also be co-locating their annual conference at PMA 2003, featuring sessions and a designated section of the trade show floor.

Targeted pre-convention events include the annual Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) and Professional School Photographers Association conferences. The Professional Picture Framers Association will be holding their first official annual conference as well.

The PMA show isn't just all business either. There will be numerous social and networking opportunities including PMA golf tournaments, fun runs, evening receptions, spouse programs and PMA Big Night.
