EYE-FI announced three new wireless SD memory cards: the Eye-Fi Explore, Eye-Fi Share, and Eye-Fi Home. Appropriate for professionals, the Eye-Fi Explore (shown at left) will automatically add geographic location tags to each photo and allow users to upload their images from Wi-Fi hotspots. The original Eye-Fi Card, now called Eye-Fi Share, is designed for the photographer who wants to effortlessly upload images directly to his or her preferred photo-sharing site in addition to his or her computer.

Panasonic expanded its High Definition (HD) suite of products with the announcement of two new full-HD camcorders, the HDC-SD100 and HDC-HS100, the world's first AVCHD camcorders with a 3MOS system. The HDC-SD100 records to SD media, while the hybrid HDC-HS100 records to both SD media and its internal 60GB hard drive. Both models include manual functions for the user who wants more precise control over zoom, focus, iris, shutter speed, and white balance. The camcorders also include Panasonic's new Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, an intuitive set of technologies that automatically activate, making video shooting easy and seamless.

SANYO introduced the Xacti HD1010, an ultra-compact, full 1920x1080 (1080i) high-definition digital camcorder featuring "Face Chaser" face-detection technology for both video and stills, as well as a new slow-motion video mode.
