A Glimpse of the Action

Photo and imaging professionals from around the world came together from May 5-7, 2004 in San Diego to attend a groundbreaking event: the PhotoImaging & Design Expo. The hard work and dedication of the show's organizers, exhibitors, speakers and attendees combined to make it an unforgettable experience. In addition to the 60+ conference seminars, the Live Photo Shoots, led by photographers from multiple specialties, including fashion, portrait and still-life, really set the conference apart. One such world renowned professional (pictured below in #9) is Douglas Kirkland, who took center stage on May 5 and shared many of his trade secrets with the audience with regard to lighting, digital photography and how to work well with everyone from assistants to models. We hope to see you at next year's big event!
