"So much of my relationship with my father was our common love for sports," said his son. "We would play together and he always got tickets to the biggest championship games."
"He was someone with a tremendous about of energy and was always on the go," said his daughter. "Even after he was diagnosed with cancer, he didn't give in to it. He would still take my kids ice skating or play sports with them after treatments."
In addition to his son and daughter, Mr. Selig leaves one grandson and one granddaughter.
