Like its predecessors in the 6500 series, the iPaq HW6900 combines a Pocket PC, a phone, a digital camera and a global positioning system (GPS) receiver.

Consumer interest in multimedia convergence devices is growing, and phones that can rival the quality of stand-alone imaging devices, such as digital still cameras and video cameras, are beginning to arrive on the market.

Joint demonstrations with Texas Instruments, Motorola and Skype, will show how consumers can easily take, share and print quality photographs from camera phones.
