About

Welcome everyone. I’m Alysha Sideman, new editor of imaginginfo.com (former associate editor of Studio Photography magazine circa. 1999-2000) and this is our new blog on photography. Long before I became a professional writer, I was fascinated by photography. My father bought my first camera at a yard sale in Massachusetts back in the 1970s. It was some clunky, mint green contraption with a detachable flash that looked more a satellite dish. I could hardly pick it up without falling over. Boy, have times changed. More than 20 years later, I’m thrilled to combine my passions of writing and photography into a blog for you. I’ll comment about photo-related news and technology, give the inside-scoop on photo press events and expos and discuss controversial photo topics going on in our world today. To help us better serve you, we would love to hear your thoughts about any of the blogs or any ideas for future installments. Happy Snapping. -a.s.
